It goes without saying … I LOVE PIZZA!
My best pizza yet. So simple to prepare this pizza. I have yet to try making my own pizza dough and it’s time that I do it. This time around I used an Artisan pizza crest already made. First, I seasoned two medium sized salmon filets with Feiny’s Fiery BBQ Rub and extra garlic powder. I grilled them indoors for about 10 minutes and set aside. I love a rich marinara sauce using a spicy version that I always ramp up!
Firing up the outdoor grill on medium high, I brushed on extra virgin olive oil with garlic. Using just a thin layer of sauce first, then adding fresh cut mozzarella, feta and ricotta cheeses.
Slide the pizza onto the grill and keep an eye on it. Depending on how hot your grill gets, I wouldn’t walk away from it. Mine runs about 700 degrees so it didn’t take long to crisp the crust and melt the cheese. Once it’s ready I top with fresh cut basil (my favorite herb) and it’s eating time!
Homemade pizza’s are always fun and it gets the whole family involved! Skies the limit when it comes to pizza making!

- Sauce: Spicy marinara with red wine, oregano, basil pesto, red crush pepper, black pepper, garlic & raspberry sauce.
- Pizza crust: Extra virgin olive oil, garlic, marinara sauce, then fresh cut mozzarella cheese, feta and ricotta cheeses.
- Grilled on the BBQ pit, then topped with fresh cut basil.
