If you have already read my article “Sunday Lunch – Seafood Fair at Home”, you’ll see that I had paired a wonderful meal with this Barton & Guestier Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2011. I’ve never tried it before and I have to say, I hit a home run today!

I’ve always enjoyed a nice Chenin Blanc but haven’t had one in well over a couple of years. Once you pour this white wine you will notice the aromatic blend of fruits of peach and pear. They compliment each other well in this bright straw colored wine with a hint of green. Your nose will be met with such floral notes blended with the fruits of white. This wine just dances on the palate in a way that you want another sip then another until you need a refill!

This Chenin Blanc pairs very well with seafood, especially shrimp and crab. Keep your meal light and lively as this Barton & Guestier Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2011 will give you a finish only a champion can love.

Enjoy!
