Keep'n It Simple. Grilled BBQ Salmon

Feinys BBQ Salmon

Many of you already know how much I love seafood. Especially salmon. I’ve never understood why many do not like the flavor a good salmon filet. You’re probably not buying it right or was served one too rare for your liking.

Well today, I’m keeping it simple! Here we have about a 10 ounce salmon filet. Pink Sockeye Salmon to be exact. I didn’t go overboard this time around. I massaged a generous portion of Feiny’s BBQ Rub, dusted with some Garlic powder and a few cracks of black course pepper. Heated my grilling pan to a medium (Setting 6 on my electric stop top) to pre-heat. Sprayed my pan with a fat free olive oil spray. I grilled the side of salmon with the generous amount of Feiny’s Rub first for 5 minutes, then flip for the last 5 minutes on the grilling pan. I cute a few small pats of butter, place on the salmon and then using a lid to produce steam to melt the butter into the salmon. Place onto a plate and sprinkle with parsley and and little bit more black course pepper.

It’s that easy! Add your favorite side of a steamed vegetable. One of my favorites is asparagus placed in a steamer bag with some chardonnay and garlic. Microwave for about 2-3 minutes depending how you like the texture of your asparagus and you have a complete meal in less than 15 minutes!

Sure beats that crappy fat-filled fast food!

Enjoy!
