My ghoulish wine choice tonight is Curious Beasts #Cabernet #Sauvignon 2014 from #California. It is a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet #Franc, #Merlot and #Zinfandel.
This is not a heavy red, but on a medium light side. So yes it’s perfect for those who do not like a heavy or full dry red.
History Lesson: In 1961, Mr. Mertz was bought by my parents on their #honeymoon in #Gatlinburg, #Tennessee. My Dad was a mortician at that time at a young age of 24. The #casket is a brass paperweight.
