As the cold air of Winter ends, you know it’s that time of the year for Girl Scout Cookies! Every year I tell myself…No, no, no! I know you do that same thing but you know what? I help a great organization and to see the smiles on the little girls is priceless. For $20 bucks you can walk away with five boxes of goodness.
Well I always buy at least two boxes of my all-time favorite, the Dos-I-Dos or as we know them as the Peanut Butter Sandwich cookie.
One evening when I got home I found that one of my boxes had been broken into. Yes it’s a crime when someone opens MY box of Girl Scout Cookies! But to my surprise I find a Ziploc bag full of chocolate covered cookies!
My 19 year old son got all creative in the kitchen on his day off and went after my Girl Scout Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies and dipped them in melted Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet & 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate! As you see in the photo…perfection! Oh I pray the Girl Scouts see this and add this to their awesome line-up of cookies!
So the next time someone lays a hand on my Girl Scout cookies, they better be dipped in fine chocolate!
